Dr. K. Michael Garrett has practiced
family dentistry in Clarksville TN since 1981. He
has incorporated a wide range of dental services.
"My main focus has always been preventing dental
disease and providing preventive services that keep
my patients having a healthy smile for a life time."
On occasion problems arise and our practice provides
a wide range of services for the entire family, from
preventive services, restorations (fillings),
crowns, tooth replacement therapy to include
non-removable bridges/removable bridges/Dental
Implant restoration, Endodontic or Root Canal
Therapy, Oral Surgery procedures as well as Cosmetic
services/Tooth Whitening thru In Office
Bleaching/Home Bleaching, veneers and new state of
the art non-metal crowns.
Dr. Garrett is a member of the
American Dental Association, Academy of General
Dentistry, Tennessee Dental Association, Tennessee
Academy of General Dentistry and Clarksville Area
Dental Society; Dr. Garrett has attained Mastership
status in the Academy of General Dentistry which
required over 1200 hours of continuing education is
specific approved areas of dentistry. There are only
120 Mastership awarded dentist in the state of
Tennessee. Also he has been awarded Fellowship
status in the Tennessee Dental Association, he has
held all the officer positions in the local dental
society of Clarksville and served as Speaker of the
House of Delegates of the Tennessee Dental
Association, Former President of the Tennessee
Academy of General Dentist. Something Michael is
proud of is his peers voted him "Dentist of the
Year" for Tennessee Academy of General Dentistry in
1998. He is a member of the American College of
Dentists and International College of Dentistry.
Michael served as Captain in U.S.Army Dental Corp
after graduating from George Peabody College of
Vanderbilt University and the University of
Tennessee College of Dentistry. He also served as a
reserve Dental Officer as well. "My military
experience was very positive for me, I received some
excellent training and experience as well as made
some tremendous friends with which I continue to
communicate with today. I still have patients who
seek care with me now that I met in my military
practice."
Dr. Garrett has served over 300 hours
of volunteer service to the Good Samaritan Dental
Clinic here in Clarksville as well as traveled to
Honduras
and
Brazil on five
different international volunteer dental service
trips.
Occupying his time outside the office he spends
majority of time rearing his two children Hannah and
Samuel. Mike's interests outside of dentistry are
boating, photography, history, high school football
officiating, traveling and golf.

their care" he continued.
